Wednesday,August 06 ,2008 Hello there and thank you for taking some of your valuable time to read this our first post. This blog is designed for those musicians and also for those who want to become musicians using the aid of the midi protocol.
Music generated by computers is a relatively new topic and not so new to those who know it.
It is common to think when we talk about computers and music, in thousands of ways to get music through the internet; however I’m referring to music digitally created using the computer as a medium.
MIDI is the acronym of Musical Instrument Digital Interface refers to a standardized protocol widely used in the area of composition and interpretation among other applications. This is the format most commonly used in recording instruments such as keyboards, guitars, violins.
Through my experience over the years in the music and computers, I was able to perform compositions within what I could say satisfactory. At the beginning when I started the quality of my compositions was not the best but for every step that I looked gave me an improvement, and now I am ready to share what I have learned in the music generated by computer.
As I said before, this site is intentional to be a guide for those musicians and composers who are new to MIDI technology and composition through the computer. Feel free to send your comments either through the contact form or simply posting the comment in the blog, I am available to resolve any questions you may have.
A short description of some sections of the site:
